Rebecca Mendoza is a 24-year-old Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, achieving her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the Accelerated Accounting Program.  Rebecca is currently a CPA Candidate and an auditor for a small CPA Firm in San Antonio, TX.

While Rebecca thrived in academic performance, she also founded her own Non-Profit Organization, the Community Connection Warriors, at 17 years old.  The CC Warriors, now a 501c3, encourages both special and general education students to break down barriers by working together through dance in an afterschool program.  This is an all-inclusive dance group currently in eight elementary schools around San Antonio with multiple schools on the waiting list for the 2019-2020 school year.

Not only is Rebecca Founder and President of her own NPO, but she is also a Fitness Instructor at L.A. Fitness where she teaches Zumba, Aqua Aerobics, and Bodyworks.  Rebecca lives an active and healthy lifestyle and encourages the public to do the same.  Rebecca also actively volunteers with Meals on Wheels which is a free service that delivers meals to Seniors around the San Antonio Area.  Rebecca has also taught dance to Senior Citizens in the Senior Ministry at St. Luke Catholic Church as well as partnered with the Arc of San Antonio.  She believes in encouraging all ages and abilities to be active and have fun while doing it.  As the current Miss San Antonio for the Miss America Organization, Rebecca hopes to continue working on her love of performing while continuing to make a mark in her community and in the state of Texas.
