Ashley Sneed was a young woman breaking down walls; she was a locally known role model and mentor for children experiencing loss.  Ashley began the non-profit organization L.I.G.H.T - Love is the Guide to Heal from Tragedy, in 2015 to help children heal from loss.  Ashley loss her father at the age of two and wanted to help others find their inner light to love and healing.  Love is the Guide to Heal from Tragedy was a peer-to-peer support system where Ashley was a motivational speaker providing guidance on how to turn tragedy into a triumph.

Ashley mentored children and teens by sharing her personal story with children at local schools, support group, counselors, churches, community events, and youth groups.  While there are many avenues for professional counseling and support, Ashley felt there was a gap that personally needed to be filled.  With God's love, everyone who was hurting could find a way to love and understanding which is the beginning of a healing heart.
