Miss San Antonio Requirements

Thank you for your interested in competing for Miss San Antonio. Our next pageant is not yet scheduled but will held to select our Miss San Antonio 2013.

In order to compete, you must:

Be between the ages of 17 and 24 for Pageant Year 2013. (May 2013 – Dec 31, 2013)

You must be 18 to fill out application. Anyone under 18 must have parent ot legal guardian fill it out for you.

•

Be a United States citizen.

•

Be a resident of the state of Texas and either reside or attend school within a 100-mile radius of San Antonio.

•

Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.

•

Be in excellent health to meet the job requirements.

•

Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the Miss San Antonio Organization, Inc.

Each contestant must raise a minimum of $100 for the Children's Miracle Network to compete in a Miss San Antonio pageant. In keeping with other Miss Texas Local Pageants, you must submit a $100.00 check upon approval of your application to secure your placement in our pageant and complete the package of paperwork for the pageant judges. Applications are due 48 hours after notification. If you choose not to compete, the $100.00 fee will be forfeited. If you are unable to compete, your deposit will be returned upon receipt of a statement written from your doctor. If your bank returns your check a $25.00 charge will be assessed.

Areas of competition are Talent, Interview, Swimsuit, and Evening Wear. You must also have a Platform which is an issue about which you are personally passionate about. It may be a women's cause, a political or social issue, or an educational concern. If you are not already involved in a project, we suggest you research and select a platform of interest to you. It is important that you complete and the application as quickly as possible as we have a limited number of contestants.
