As you already know, I’m very involved with the Miss America Organization but you probably didn’t know that one of the exciting opportunities this organization offers is the chance to raise funds for local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The money I raise will help save children’s lives, and a portion will also go to support the Miss America Scholarship Fund.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals makes sure that donated funds stay local which means that your donation helps kids and families right here in our community. I invite you to join me in touching the lives of sick and injured children today, by clicking the "Donate Now" button to make a secure donation. You can also see the impact of your donation by clicking here to view some of the incredible miracle stories from kids we've helped. These are just a few stories out of millions of kids treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.

Thank you so much for your support and for helping me make miracles happen!

Ashley Sneed

Ashley Sneed is a young woman breaking down walls; she is a locally known role model and mentor for children experiencing loss.  Ashley began the non-profit organization L.I.G.H.T - Love is the Guide to Heal from Tragedy, two years ago to help children heal from loss.  The one defining moment that truly made a great impact in her life and helped motivate her to find passion and purpose with significant meaning was the death of her father.  Her father died in a car accident and it devastated her family beyond belief.  The loss was numbing and isolating and she thought her heart would never heal.  However, the loss of her father and his absence shaped and molded her into the person she is today.  Ashley loss her father at the age of two and wants to help others find their inner light to love and healing.  Love is the Guide to Heal from Tragedy is a peer-to-peer support system where Ashley is a motivational speaker providing guidance on how to turn tragedy into a triumph.

Ashley mentors children and teens by sharing her personal story with children at local schools, support group, counselors, churchs, community events, and youth groups.  While there are many avenues for professional counseling and support, Ashley feels there is a gap that personally needs to be filled.  With God's love, everyone who is hurting can find a way to love and understanding which is the beginning of a healing heart.

Ashley was crowned Miss Central Texas 2017 where she was awarded non-finalist talent and was awarded a scholarship from Miss Texas.  She has also held other titles in the Miss America Organization including Miss Alamo City 2016, Miss Alamo City's Outstanding Teen 2015, and Miss San Antonio's Outstanding Teen 2014.  Ashley also won other talent portions of competiton on the Miss Texas stage, and many other scholarship.
