Ambition: I am majoring in Communications with a concentration in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration.  My career goal is to be involved with the media and become a national news/sports anchor.  I gained a new interest in sports broadcasting after discovering the lack of women in the field and have made it a challenge to become more involved and dedicate myself to encourage other women to branch out.  My ultimate goal is to have my own show on ESPN one day!

Honors: Member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority; Month of the Scholar Award; Presidential Award for Academic Excellence; Graduated Cum Laude from high school; National Junior Honor Society

Accomplishments: Raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Hospital and the S. June Smith Center; Volunteered with the Special Olympics; Celebrated Halloween and Valentines Day at the Unicorn Center; Raised money for the North American Food Drive; Organized a fashion show for the Kidney Foundation; Participated in the Walk for Leukemia; Helped clean up roads within San Antonio

Interesting Facts: I have a love for Google - I "Google" everything!  I have a hobby of collecting shoes; I own over 100 pair of heels!  I auditioned for a part on the Disney Channel and won a Sunburst Pageant at the age of two.  I have never eaten seafood in my life and I lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere for a few years!
